Kellie Donovan, Director of Revolution Twirl Club, began twirling baton when she was five years old and has been hooked ever since! Kellie fell in love with the sport because it was artistic, challenging, required good hand/eye coordination and contained elements of many other sports including, ballet, dance and gymnastics. Kellie started competing when she was five years old and quickly became one of the most recognized twirlers in the world. She was a member of the USA baton twirling team for eleven years and has been representing the USA domestically and internationally for over twenty-one years. In 2002, while graduating from UCLA and earning two bachelor’s degrees in both political science and communications, Kellie was simultaneously traveling the world competing and representing the United States. Kellie and her teammates won the World Championships held in Canada and in 2003 repeated their victory in Spain. In addition to her amazing team success, Kellie also managed to win the Bronze medal in the Individual Senior Women’s Category, ranking her third best in the World. Kellie has also held numerous national titles in solo, dance twirl and strut events. After college, Kellie spent two years as a financial planner with Waddell & Reed, learning the ins and outs of business management. Wanting to take advantage of her management experience and entrepreneurial spirit, Kellie launched her own business Revolution Twirl Club in 2004 and has been going strong ever since.

Revolution Twirl Club is Northern California’s premier baton twirling club and has hundreds of members from entry-level beginners to advance competitive teams.  We have had twirlers in International competitions since 2006.  Kellie is widely recognized as one of the best baton twirling instructors in the world and has been invited to teach in France, England and Japan. With the help of local certified baton twirling instructors, Revolution Twirl Club offers classes at all levels and offers even the most entry level twirler the opportunity to experience the amazing sport of baton twirling. Kellie was the President of the California Baton Council from 2008 to 2011, Vice President from 2012-2014 and is currently a board member.  She is also a Master Judge for the United States Twirling Association.
