Revolution Twirl Club Events

We participate in many events throughout the twirling season (September-July), such as parades, competitions, recitals, special events.

All Revolution Twirl Club Members:  Twirlers who have participated in at least four Revolution Twirl Club classes are welcome to participate in our recitals, parades and some of our special events.  We have two mock contests each season (one in winter and one in summer), which is a great event for friends and family.  We participate in parades throughout the season, including the Disneyland Parade in June.

Competitive Teams:  In the beginning of the season, twirlers who are interested in competitions will be placed on a team.  The team has practice once a week for either forty-five minutes or an hour depending on the team level.  They participate in 4 to 5 competitions throughout the season.  There are usually one or two in Sacramento, one or two in the Bay area, and one or two in Antioch area.  These contests typically take place on a Saturday.  The schedule is handed out in September for the entire season.

Advanced Team: In the beginning of the season, a selected group of twirlers are chosen as our advanced team members.  This team has tweny-four hours of practice each month and trains to be the best!  They particpate in 4 to 5 local contests, the Western United States Championships, the National Championships, and have competed at the International Championships.

Twirling Opportunities

Baton twirling can help twirlers with their confidence and comfort in front of a crowd.  Competitive twirling can help twirlers with learning about success/failure, working hard and good teamwork/sportsmanship.  Some of our twirlers have gone on to perform for their colleges and some on a full-ride scholarship.  Our club has had twirlers at University of Memphis, Boise State, UCLA, Chico State and University of Hawaii! We have had twirlers be part of Cirque du Soleil as well as be part of Blast the Broadway show.  We have had twirlers travel to other countries to demonstrate and instruct.
